Loading Shovels can be wheeled or tracked dependant on the environment they are working in. We provide course where the operation of the loading shovel is for short cycle work, loading the bucket from a stockpile for instance and then transporting it and tipping the product into a hopper or vehicle. We can also provide training for other uses of loading shovels.
Excavators are mainly of the tracked type and can vary in size from mini to large for major construction work. Some of our past training course have been at sites involving Small Building Works, Highway Repairs and Grave Digging.
Forward Tipping Dumpers are usually associated with working on building sites and road works. They are of a robust construction and very powerful but are limited as to the amount of spoil they can transport. general industry has also found uses for this type of machine.
Rear Tipping Dumpers are of a much larger construction than the forward tipping type. These machines can move large quantities of product and transport it to the tipping point fairly quickly. These machines are mainly used in Quarries, Large Construction Sites and Aggregate Production.
Skidsteers or Bobcats as they are better known (Bobcat is a brand name) are a very versatile machine. They can be found operating in a wide variety of industry types, from Construction to Dock work. Buckets are the most common attachments used on these machines but there many other types of attachment available.
